Renovations

Our exciting renovations are in full swing! This is the big one. We are pulling out all the stops to build our dream Veterinary Hospital. The focus is entirely on providing premium quality care and service.

A large extension has been added to the rear of the building and the original rear of the building is being completely rebuilt internally with a raised floor matching the rest of the facility. This will effectively double the size of the Practice.

The client toilet facilities are going to be in the building you can see outside the front door. Amusingly dubbed the " bus stop " by a client. Freeing up this space will allow us to create a much needed third consultation room.

The extension will contain a second larger high end surgery and scrub room for our more advanced surgery and laparoscopy. It will also contain the staff room, clinic office and staff toilet. The rest of the reconstructed area will have our separate dog and cat wards, an isolation ward for infectious cases, an imaging room for ultrasound and radiology, a storage room and a utilities and food preparation room.

We are certainly looking forward to it's completion and an open day where we can share it all with you.

Staff changes

Two long term members of the Clinic family have now reluctantly left our team. Claire has left to support her husband in a new business venture and Candice has left after thirteen loyal years to marry her sweetheart who lives in Hamilton. She did consider commuting! We wish them all the best and will miss them dearly.

Kirsten has now taken on the very important responsibility of Clinic Manager and is doing a wonderful job.

Two new caring and enthusiastic nurses are now joining our team. Laura and Rhiannon are excited and looking forward to meeting you all.
