One example being that East Coast Bays Vet Clinic was the first general practice in New Zealand to routinely offer minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.
With leading care as a goal, we have invested in our patients with advanced equipment including some New Zealand firsts such as Ligasure vessel sealing, Piezowave shockwave therapy, Hotdog warming devices and gas sterilisation.
Our clients benefit from the affordability of many advanced procedures that are not routinely available in general practice.

The clinic is a gold standard Cat Friendly Clinic and many of our team are Fear Free Accredited
Examples are that cats have their own lovely dedicated area in reception and a separate hospital ward. Dogs that are shy can be seen in our special outdoor space when needed and all our hospitalised patients have gentle soothing music, lots of blankets and a dedicated nurse to meet their needs all day.
We are the only Vet Clinic on the North Shore to have met the New Zealand Veterinary Associations standards of excellence provided by Best Practice Accreditation.
